Abstract
|
|
|
Fibrothecoma of the ovary is a very rare tumor.
This ovarian tumor belongs to the sex cord stromal tumor in WHO classification and gonadal stromal tumor in histopathologic classification.
Ovarian theca cell tumor has been associated with hyperestrogenism and hirsutism.
We had experienced a case of fibrothecoma of the ovary in 25-year old pregnant woman.
A brief review of the literatures -concerning gonadal stromal tumor of the ovary is presented.
